Membership Eligibility
- Physicians who possess the license in the United States to practice with a degree of doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO).
- Council of Medical Society Members: A physician that has a current, active membership with an NHMA Council of Medical Societies member.
- International Medical Graduate Member (IMG): An international medical graduate is a physician who has graduated from a medical school outside of the US.
- Resident Physicians who possess the degree of MD or DO and are serving in medical/surgical residencies or fellowships in the United States.
- Health Professional students enrolled in an educational program provided by a college of medicine or other health professions schools.
- Non-Physician Professionals: Passionate professionals who want to be involved in improving the health of Hispanic communities that do not fall in any of the groups above.

NHMA Membership Dues
NHMA dues are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
At NHMA, we strive to use our funds in a way that can bring the most impact to our Hispanic and Latino communities and healthcare providers. We thank all of our members for their contribution towards a healthier and more equitable future.
