Mission

NHMA Alliance (501(c)3) is the non-profit branch of the National Hispanic Medical Association dedicated to increasing workforce diversity, promoting health equity, and improving the health and well-being of Hispanic/Latino and underserved communities. NHMA supports and empowers Hispanic/Latino physicians to assist in leading these efforts. Our mission is to provide opportunities for career development, leadership, and educational training for college and medical students, residents, doctors, and other allied healthcare professionals. We realize this through our federal, state, and local advocacy efforts and in collaborations with medical and community-based organizations and other public and private sector partners. We are unwavering in our commitment to improving health outcomes for our communities.
