NHMA NET February 2009
January 30, 2009 – The Senate passed the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) reauthorization last night (66-32) that included the childhood obesity demonstration project for which the Campaign to End Obesity had been advocating. The House is expected to adopt the Senate bill and send it along to the President early next week. This marks the first victory for the Campaign in 2009. Thanks to all of you for your support!
